Hallo Leute,

ich besitze einen Zaurus SL-C3000 und finde für ihn, der als einer der wenigen PDAs eine 4 GB Platte hat, praktisch kein vernünftiges Routing-Programm.

Mir wurde geraten, mal hier her zu gehen, was ich getan habe. Und ich will TomTom nicht nur für das doofe WinCE haben, sondern für QT, was auf meinem Linux läuft.

Gibt es da irgendeinen Weg ?

Starting a GUI application from the console

Hi people. I have been looking in the doc for this for several days but didn't manage to do it. What I want to do is to start a GUI application that would take over the screen, sending TTN to background, and restore it at exit. This application would be run whenever something arrives to the serial port, so the app would be run by a daemon that is started at boot time. Is it possible? I couldn't find any way to start a GUI application other than manually selecting it from the menu. I've found some UI functions in TomTomApi.h that are not documented anywhere. I don't know if they would serve for my purpose...

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

i really havnt a clue where to start

i have mandriva running and so can follow instructions

i wish to get the mp3 working, ive downloaded alsorts and am lost as to what i need, what i need to do.

i have the tt one v3 (bought xmas 2006) i have a spare card with all data off the original.

could someone be so kind as to walk me through the process of installing opentom and the mp3 player?

id then like to play around with other options... (any really good suggestions)

please help......
