is there a way to put a picture on the tom tom go 700 instead of the the pic that is already there on the opening screen terry
That is easy. Just replace the file "splash.bmp" with your own picture of the same dimensions. Can't exactly remember how big it has to be but just load the splash.bmp into Gimp or some other graphics program and you should get the idea. Have fun. (Venty)

bin gerade selbst dabei an einem aehnlichen Projekt mit dem S3C2410 zu basteln, mich wuerden da mal vor allem eure Ueberlegungen bzw Einstellungen zum LCD Controller des Samsung interessieren. Habe den Code, insbesondere des Bootloaders (die Regiser des LCD Controller werden ja im Booloader bereits gesetzt) aber leider nirgends gefunden. Mich verwirren naemlich die Angaben zur Basisadresse des Framebuffers im Datenblatt des Samsung...

TomTom one V3 MP3 player
I've succesfully compiled the MP3 player for the TomTom one V3 ( and older TomToms ) Somehow the GPS speed indicator does not work, I'll try to fix that.

Compiling for TomTom Rider
Hello,
I'm trying to compile for TomTom Rider. I have changed the fb.c files (320 instead of 240 and RIDER instead of RAIDER), but when i try to "make" i get the following error:

i have switched to dietlibc.0.30 instead of dietlibc.0.29 (changed the files and renamed the folder), the error was gone, but still no success, elftrunc have a segmentation fault, which i could not solve
Any ideas anyone?

edit: i managed to compile (using knoppix live cd instead of installed ubuntu) for TomTom Rider, since i had troubles finding a copy, here's a link [[1] ]
Delete system (bootloader) in TomTom GO 520
Hi to all.
I wanted to ask you how you can join the Internal Flash Memory of TomTom GO 520, to downgrade the File System (bootloader). How well you know you can TomTom in the Processed Bootloader (system), but not Downgrade, to re-enter a previous system. The TomTom make available all sources she used, which created the O.S. Device.
How can then remove the system and re-insert preview, perhaps with the excellent TTCONSOLE ?
