TomTom ONE
Works great after recompiling with the patch.
MP3 player is working good too, but hearphones are not used: nothing happen when pluggin them.
Keep up the good work!

I would love to see the TomTom One get MPEG4 player added, just think about the poss. viewing a mini movie on your sat nav's SD card, the mp3 player is an excellent step forward in the right direction - no pun intended.
Package Manager
Package managing on a central server would be great. I think of a system like in the Linksys routers running OpenWRT or DD-WRT. So you can get an overview over all available applications and keep your system up to date.
WLAN Adapter
A wifi connection could enable many applications like:
Hotspot connection
- web-browsing
- Download new POIs or Radar-Warnings from Databases
- all known Internet applications
OpenTom2OpenTom-Applications
Send information between different OpenTom devices over wireless ad-hoc connections. Maybe on a standardized channel. A special OpenTom-beacon could announce other OpenTom users in range.
- Exchange of POIs between different OpenTom users (motorbike routes, (underground) events,...)
- Send traffic information to other users (traffic jams, exchange fastest routes...)
- Chat/Push2Talk
