CANNOT MOUNT UNDER SLACKWARE CURRENT

it sees the usb dev under proc but udev seems not to create any sda's to mount does anyone tried to mount a tomtom go 700 2gb flash hard disk under linux ?

got a slack current with the latest release candidate 2.6.15 kernel and usb-storage active & builtin
