TomTom ONE New Edition (v2)
Overview
266MHz Samsung S3C2412X CPU, 32MB RAM, SDCARD slot, Bluetooth, SIRF 3 GPS. No audio or serial ports.
How to identify One New Edition
- Model 4N00.004.2 (possibly other similar as well)
- Software & Maps stored on SD-Card
- No internal flash, asks you to insert card if removed.
- Bluetooth (reported removed in some regions)
- Says "tomtom" at the left below the screen, and the TomTom hands at the right below the screen
- No other external connectors than USB & SD-Card
Software
Latest software as of 2009-10-18 is 7.903.9183/081205. Software is the same on original One, One New Edition (v2) and One V3.

Serial console
The New Edition do not have a serial port connector. But the serial port have been found on test points on the upper side of the PCB close to the CPU. Standard kernel boots without a console (serial port quiet).
