check if your device is v4

  1. go into the menu of your standard TomTom installation
  2. switch to page 3
  3. select Show version
  4. look at the top of the following screen

  • What Kernel Version is used by this one?
    • Kernel Versions 1222 and 1334 did not work
  • Build OpenTom for this one

Kernel Version

  • seems it is using version 1713
  • builded opentom with golinux 1713 - after starting it is restarting... :(
    • but this is much better than version 1222 and 1334 - they just hang up ;)
    • is there a way to get something like dmesg?

model number: 4N00.005 (TomTom One Limited Edition (V4))

  • Follow the prior steps to get to version page
  • Take note of the boot version.

Kernel version is 2327 for TomTom One LE. using version 2332 from tomtom site [1] TomTom One LE has the project name Cork

  • Open the file golinux-tt2332/arch/arm/mach-s3c2410/tomtomgo-iocorkltc.h
  • Find the requiredbootloader string and change to the bootloader version noted from the version page
